The swiss people

Of all the things here what I like most in Switzerland are the people here. In what sense - I will tell you one by one. The first thing very noticeable here is the physical built of the people. Men are of avergae height 5'10" and gals 5'8", this might not be an accurate information but this is what I have noticed so far. The physical built of the men is good. More like a physically fit punjabi. Nice fore arms, bisceps, broad chest and slim waist, what an ideal physic should be from my point of view. Women too are tall and are physically very fit as compared to Indian gals. Despite the rumors that Indian gals are beautiful - I found the swiss gals better any time.

Life here is easy. Working hours are not long but the work done is a quality work. People put life basic needs above all. The needs like time to spend with the family, watch sports, go out ob door activity etc. Things human should do but the things which we Indiana seem to be forgetting too much. In short life is relaxed. But then too much relaxation is boring. So what to do. People here do a lot of outdoor activities unlike normal Indians. Going out for treck, moutain biking, rafting or what ever is they do. Saturday and Sunday are off days. On Sunday a lot of things are closed including the medical shop. Sunday or any other off day people just don't work. They just leave the city for any out bound activity.

Unlike in India again people here are motorcycle enthusiasts. Though there are motorcycling groups in India like Bikenomads and RSA but majority of people bike in India because its economical. People here bike because they like to bike. R1s, R6s are easily viewable here and best of all people here accelerate them to the max.

Most of the people here are well mannered. They don't talk loud unless in groups and that too only to communicate. Most amazing thing that I found after coming from India is that people here stop for you on zebra crossing. For instance there was a high speed porsche coming our way and my sis and others just crossed the road while I just stood there to let it pass first. People have the right of way on the zebra crossing. Which I am so unused too. I mean yeah in Chandigarh zebra crossing holds an importance but not that much that a high speed vehicle would stop for you.

People also don't stare at each other like in India. A smart looking gal doesn't have to wait for more than a minute in India to be stared by someguy while here people ususally don't stare at all.
